Easy Does It

This kitchen island was damaged due to a leaky water line from the dishwasher.  

We at SERVPRO of Pleasanton/Dublin know how much you love your granite kitchen counter tops. Because you love them so much, we take every precaution to save them.

Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to remove the affected walls of a kitchen island when it supports a very heavy slab of granite. Like a leaning tower of Jenga; you need to remove every piece of drywall and cabinets slowly and methodically adding support along the way.

Should any of the support beams fail during this process it can add enough stress to cause the granite to crack.
